As often happens, when i was practising a new type of shot, the practise shots turn out better than the planned ones. Here is such a shot. People with sharp eyes will be able to tell what time it was, what radio station i was listening to & where in portlaois i happened to take the shot

Creativity block
I seem to have a creativity block at the moment, a lot of other stuff is dragging my attention elsewhere.
Working on my house is the main culprit, i know it is necessary, but its still a bit annoying.
Hope you are having a great week & if you have any ideas to break this dry spell let me know.

Honey I Shrunk The Horse.
A shot from Clonaslee show, which i couldn't resist.
The girl holding it is not an adult, which shows just how small it is.
Have a good week

Practice
Just a few shots while practicing my panning & reaction times, i always find that swallows are perfect.
They are really quite hard to capture.
One of the lenses is also a macro, so i shot a few close ups to.

Joe & Karen wedding
Just a few shots from the wedding of my good friends, Joe & Karen.
Ballintubbert Gardens, which had just opened was the location of the post ceremony shots.
It was a happy & fun filled day. I could not but smile as i wrote this blog or indeed when i was converting the raw files, not always my favorite part of photography.
.
A big thank you, to Karen & Joe for allowing me to take the shots

Say Hello To My Little Friend
One of the most favorite things about my house at the moment is this little guy.
He sits on the chimney singing, so i can hear him inside. It is so enjoyable to have some of nature inside, even if it is so small. I will really miss him when his brood has grown & he does not need my chimney as one of his lookouts.

Laois Connemara Pony Breeders
It has become a bit of a tradition to shoot the LCPG show
One tradition which was broken this year was it did not rain during the stallion class. No matter how nice the day was it always managed a little precipitation when the stallions came into the ring. Not this year it was glorious.
I would like to thank all who made it a enjoyable day

Street Preformance World Championship
I headed to Portlaois for the SPWC. The first day started with rain, but the sun didn't want to miss the show & soon a picnic atmosphere settled on the park, with most of the spectators sitting on the grass.
The performers were very talented & appear to be quite self confident, something which artist can struggle with. It is a feeling which i freely admit to battling with.
From a photographic viewpoint some of the acts were a little frustrating, Jack Wise & Kenny Lightfoot are prime examples. As much comics as street performers, leaving me laughing at their acts but struggling to find a action shot.
The rain came back with much vengeance that night ( it is Ireland ), resulting in the acts being moved inside which cramped the performances & left me vainly trying to get decent shots.
The Where's Wally record attempt was also called off, leaving a lot of children & one photographer a little disappointed

Randoms
Out scouting locations for a project, i will shoot what i call randoms. Certainly not " THE PICTURE", just something which catches my eye. Here are a few while searching for a house. Before my neighbours start to party ( i buy camera equipment instead of laying my lawn), I'm not moving. More about the houses later.
